Sponsor a camp.
Own the war.

Every camp eats, shops, cooks and weighs in on camera, which means every camp has a pantry and every pantry has a brand behind it. Camp sponsorship puts your product inside the format instead of in the ad break beside it.

Sponsorship that is part of the show

A diet format is unusually generous to brands. The product is not a logo in the corner, it is the thing the contestants live on for a whole season and the thing the audience argues about.

  • AInside the format: the pantry, the shop, the cook-off, the coaching
  • BOne brand per category, exclusive for the season
  • CA health-positive room: expert-supported, welfare first
  • DBroadcast, social cutdowns, recipes and a home challenge

Where a brand actually lands

These are the beats the format is built on. Each one can carry a partner, and each one is content long after the episode airs.

M.01

The weigh-in

The peak of every episode. Owned by the measurement partner, on screen, every single week.

M.02

The supermarket sweep

Camps race the aisles on a budget. A grocery format moment, and a retail campaign in its own right.

M.03

The cook-off

Rival diets, same brief, one kitchen. Cookware, appliance and pantry brands live here.

M.04

The camp pantry

What each team is allowed to eat all season. The most sustained product presence in the show.

M.05

The coach's session

Experts explaining the plan. The right place for a brand with a genuine nutrition story.

M.06

The temptation test

Contestants face what they gave up. Handled carefully, and never sold to the brand being resisted.

M.07

The home challenge

Viewers play along with their own camp between episodes, through the app, socials and this site.

M.08

Social and digital

Weigh-in cutdowns, camp recipes and contestant diaries that outlive the broadcast.

Ground rules+

What partners can never buy

A weight-loss show carries a duty of care, and the fastest way to lose an audience is to look bought. Being strict about this protects your brand as much as ours.

Non-negotiableDW.2026
Never the resultNo partner influences a weigh-in, a challenge, an elimination or the winner.
Never an unsupported claimCleared against the AANA codes and broadcaster standards, or it does not run.
Never a contestant's welfareAnyone can step back at any time, with no partner obligation attached.
Never the messageThe show says the best diet is the one you can keep. Partners live with that.

Categories we decline

Gambling and wagering. Alcohol. Prescription weight-loss medicines and the telehealth services that prescribe them. Detox, appetite suppressant and quick-fix products. Any brand whose claims we cannot substantiate.

Duty of care is part of the deal

DietWars carries the Butterfly Foundation support line on every page and in the show, contestants are supported by qualified health professionals throughout, and partners are asked to respect that framing in their own campaign creative.

Where we are up to

An original Australian format in active development, with casting interest open nationwide. We publish no audience projections here. Partner conversations deal in the real production stage, and we would rather be straight about that from the first email.

Partner FAQ+

The questions brands ask first

01

What stage is DietWars at?

+
DietWars is an original Australian format in active development. Casting interest is open nationwide and we are in conversation with production and distribution partners. We talk to brands at this stage deliberately, because founding partners help shape the format rather than buying into a finished one. If you ask what is confirmed, you will get a straight answer.
02

Do sponsors influence who wins?

+
No. No sponsor, supplier or partner can influence a weigh-in, a challenge result, an elimination or the season winner. Results are decided by the format and verified independently, and it is written into every partnership agreement. A show that can be bought is worth nothing to the brand that buys it.
03

What does category exclusivity actually mean?

+
One brand per category, per season. If you take a camp as an olive oil brand, no competing olive oil brand appears in the series, in the digital content or on this site for that season. The tighter the category definition, the easier it is to protect, so we agree the wording up front.
04

Can we supply product instead of paying a cash fee?

+
Yes. Supply partnerships are genuinely useful to a food format, and plenty of partnerships combine a cash component with product supply. Contra-only arrangements are considered case by case and generally sit at supply partner level rather than a full camp buy-out.
05

Can we buy media as well as integration?

+
Both, and most partnerships end up using both. Integration is presence inside the format itself - the camp, the pantry, the challenge, the weigh-in - and that is what makes this different from an ad break. Media runs alongside it: the digital and social inventory around the series is ours to package directly, and broadcast or platform airtime is bundled in through whoever carries the series once that is confirmed. Tell us which you want and we will quote them together or separately.
06

How are health claims handled?

+
Carefully. Anything a partner wants said on screen is cleared against the AANA advertising codes, the Food and Beverages code and the relevant broadcaster standards before it goes to air. If a claim cannot be substantiated it does not run, however much the deal is worth.
07

What if our category is on the decline list?

+
Then we will say so straight away rather than take a meeting. Gambling, alcohol, prescription weight-loss medicines and quick-fix or detox products are out, and that will not change. If you are close to the line, ask - some brands sit in a category we decline but have a range that does not.
